Was born in 1930, in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires Province. He is a painter, sculptor and designer. He studied at the Manuel Belgrano National School of Fine Arts, and the Ernesto de la Cárcova school of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 1951 as senior professor of Drawing and Mural Decoration. He was a member of the group of researchers at the Center for Research in Mass Communication, Art and Technology (Centro de Investigación en Comunicación Masiva, Arte y Tecnología - CICMAT) in 1972-73. Since 1972 he has been a professor of Painting at the National School of Fine Arts "P. Pueyrredón". In 1980-83 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Forum of Arts. In 1991 he was elected president of the National Academy of Fine Arts for the period 1992-94. Since 1958 he has staged 58 individual exhibitions, and has participated in more than 160 collective exhibitions held in galleries and museums in Argentina and abroad. He has received 31 national prizes and 5 international ones, among which are: second prize of the del Salón Austral y Colombiano de Pintura, Cali, Colombia. 1969 Grand Prize of the Arts Festival in Tandil. 1970, Grand Prize of the Independence Salon, Quito, Ecuador. 1976, Grand Prize of Honour in Painting at the LXV National Salon of Fine Arts. 1982 Platinum Konex Prize for best geometric painter; Grand Prize of the "Grand Prizes of the National Salon 1911-1982". 1986, Silver Laurel to the personality of the Year as painter and sculptor, Rotary Club of Buenos Aires. His works are part of private collections here and abroad.
